                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 9493, AS 
                   AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRI-
                   ATING OR AUTHORIZING OR ALLOCATING FUNDS TO 
                   THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET FOR THE 
                   FISCAL YEAR 1990-1991", SO AS TO REALLOCATE 
                   FUNDS AS SET FORTH BELOW; AND TO PROVIDE FOR 
                   THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE 
                   CONTINGENCY FUND PER RESOLUTION NO. 19635.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That the Capital Budget Ordinance, entitled 
       as set forth in the caption hereof, be and the same is amended as 
       provided hereinafter.
       	    	 SECTION 2.  That Section 1 of said Ordinance be amended 
       as hereinafter set out:
       	    	      	   	      	       	    	    Substitute in
       	    	      	   	     	        Delete      Lieu Thereof 
       
       Public Safety Capital Projects Fund
       	    Underground Storage Tanks	    $ 150,000.00     $  23,313.33
       
       
       General Services Capital Projects Fund
       	    Underground Storage Tanks	                     $ 126,686.67
       
       	    TOTALS    	   	      	    $ 150,000.00     $ 150,000.00
       	    	      	             	         
       
       	    	 SECTION 3.  That $66,738.33 be transferred from the 
       Contingency Fund, $60,000.00 of which was approved per Resolution 
       No. 19635 and the remainder of which is required due to higher 
       than anticipated contract prices, and appropriated for the 
       Underground Storage Tanks Project in the General Services Capital 
       Projects Fund.
       	    	 SECTION 4.  That this Ordinance shall take effect two 
       (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
